I often make videos for YouTube or this website because I enjoy making them and for you to watch them but every now in then I get asked to help with something that helps the community like when the good people at Keep Christchurch Beautiful (KCB) asked to use my video on the Margaret Mahy Family Playground because they were putting it up for an award I wanted to help. So I made shorter version of the original for them to use at the awards show which the Margaret Mahy Playground won.
A few months later KCB invited me to their annual awards where they presented people who have been working hard to keep Christchurch clean and beautiful but also to people that support them in various ways.
I was present with a Certificate of Appreciation for helping with the video of which I was happy to receive.
I hope that I will be able to help KCB more in the future and if you have an idea to help keeping Christchurch beautiful then get in contact.
